This week David Bayne came and preached for us on the Status of the Christian, from Romans 8. It is important that we distinguish character and status. Character grows and changes, but our status as children of God is binary and depends on the righteousness of Christ imputed to us and received by grace alone. Next week we will look at Romans 8 through the lens of Christian character.
